Points. 1. Nov 15, 2012. #16. I'm just over 6'6". The fixed seat is OK in a Panda without a sunroof. The height adjustable seat means a sunroof is just about tolerable. In my experience height adjustable seats usually adjust up for a smaller people, so it was a delight to see the seat pad drop down in the Panda.
The Fiat Panda is up against quite a few city cars, but it's more practical than most. It's a wow factor that it's £2,000, The boot is large and storage is decent, but head room is limited due to
Car safety. Despite the Panda 4x4's perceived budget status, Fiat should be commended for making the car available with a comprehensive level of safety kit. Active standard features run to ABS and brake force distribution, while the Panda's regular twin front airbags can be supplemented by twin side and curtain airbags - bringing the tally to six.
Fiat Panda Tyres. We may often overlook our tyres, but they're some of the most important parts of our cars – keeping your Fiat Panda on the road, maintaining traction, and stopping and starting safely! And while they might be something you rarely think of, you certainly do think about them when they've picked up a puncture.
The Fiat Panda is rubbish. It’s endearing. There is nothing–literally nothing–about the Panda that inspires affection. Just look at it! I’m sorry, are we looking at the same car? ‘Hideous’ doesn’t begin to cover it. That the Panda’s design received approval from Fiat’s board of directors is nothing short of a miracle.
The Panda is a cheap car but better than the Matiz, it also has better NCAP ratings than the Matiz. If the press are right it is supposed to be a very good car to drive, it is also safe and has cheap insurance it is a good first car. However I would not spend anything like the cost of a new Panda on my first car unless I had more money than
ndrNrxJ. The Fiat Panda 4x4 remains the only car in Fiat’s or any other carmaker’s line-up, to cram four-wheel drive into a supermini. However,
In fact, the Panda’s now so good and no longer such the obvious ugly duckling in the family, that unless you’re really determined to follow fashion, we can’t understand why you’d choose a
9 Fiat 1400. The 1400 is widely regarded as one of Fiat's biggest duds. Its styling looked like a pastiche of American cars of the day. It also had fairly mediocre engines, including a 1.9-liter naturally-aspirated diesel that produced only 40 hp. The 1400 did make up for it in the comfort department.
I recall that the Fiat panda have been highly regarded on the PistonHeads forum as a first car mainly due to it having more then average HP, compared to the typical first cars ,which tend to only have around 60-80hp. And due to the fact it's not a typical young person's first car it should be cheaper to insure then less powerful cars.
hyundai first if they did make a good car still are hyundai. fiat is the most prestigous name in the city car category because they have been at it so long. i know hyundais interiors are made of dull crappy plastics and their handling and noise is also boring. the panda has nice seats nice high position for dirving, and the handling is superbly
The company is notable for getting Fiat’s attention after making a car that the Italian firm thought looked remarkably similar to its Panda (Italian courts agreed) and more recently for striking
is fiat panda a good car
