Fujifilm has officially released its XF 16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR lens, which the company teased on last year's lens roadmap. The 16-55mm is equivalent to 24-84mm when mounted on an X-series body and offers an internal focusing system and 'twin linear motor' which Fujifilm says will allow for fast and silent AF. The lens is sealed in fourteen places and has three aspherical and three ED elements
Laowa 9mm f/2.8 - if you need something wider (probably not, since you consider the 16mm f/2.8) Zeiss 12mm f/2.8 - seems pretty close to the Samyang/Rokinon in terms of size. You gain AF, but lose 1 stop of light. Fujifilm 14mm f/2.8 - Probably the best optically, but is it wide enough? Fujifilm 16mm f/2.8 - Optically in the league of the 14mm.
This Fuji 16-80mm is a general-purpose zoom. It goes a little wider and longer than the smaller 18-55mm f/2.8-4, but this 16-80mm is bigger and more expensive. It's made of metal and plastic. This 16-80mm is super sharp, as almost all lenses are today, and it also gets very close, probably replacing a macro lens for most people.
The Lee Filter system would provided for a 15 stop ND with both their ' Stopper' range and their 'ProGlass IRND' range . However, you would be looking at their 100mm system rather than their 'SevenFive' system due to the 77mm adaptor requirement for the 16-55mm. I have a few Hoya Solas IRND ND filters of various thread sizes, and density.
Next we’ll compare Fuji’s 16-55mm f/2.8 to its full frame equivalents, the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L, and the Canon 24-70mm f/4 L. Even though the 16-55mm f/2.8 is one of Fuji’s heftier lenses, it’s still significantly lighter than the f/2.8 zooms from either Nikon or Canon. Remarkably, it’s actually heavier when
The Fujifilm XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR lens is a fast zoom lens with exceptional optics compatible with Fujifilm X mount mirrorless cameras. While the Fuji X-mount lens can be used on an APS-C sensor mirrorless camera from its competitors, Canon or Nikon, it does require a smart adapter. Unfortunately, adapters increase the distance between the
q2rDF. The Fujifilm 16mm f2.8 Lens is a total blast to use for landscapes. Admittedly, the 16mm focal length has taken a bit of getting used to for me as I find my 23mm a bit easier to compose with. But, after a couple of weeks with the 16mm 2.8, my eyes & brain have adapted to it. As for landscape shots: The 16mm field of view really opens things up
Feb 18, 2019. So reviews of this new XF 16mm F2.8 are popping out on youtube, and they are rather positive, though I am still waiting for some answers/confirmations: -How close can you shoot while wide open and with sufficiant sharpness like the Mighty 16 at f1.4 for example.
After 2 years of use throughout 8 countries across Asia & Africa, the Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 has earned its rightful title as “ Fuji’s Best Kit Lens .”. Disclosure: this review is based on our real-world experiences with the lens, so it’ll be focused on in-field results, not technical charts. Durability: 8.0. Functionality: 8.5.
Fuji XF 16-55mm F2.8 Autofocus. As previously noted, the XF 16-55mm sports premium linear motors in its autofocus design, and these give the lens an excellent autofocus performance. I should note that I did my review on the Fuji X-T3, which, at the time of this review, is Fuji’s newest and most sophisticated autofocusing camera. This

Therefore my current idea of a setup would be: -35mm f1.4 for portrait and low light street photography. -18-55 as an all-rounder (landscape, street, travel) -50-230 for landscape and sports/wildlife (I very rarely shoot these so the XC works fine for me) -Maybe getting the Fujinon 10-24mm in the future to get those extra mm in landscape shooting.
